Terms and Conditions
All the visitors must follow the terms and conditions during their visit at Fly Home Family Hangouts.

  • No Negative Comments: Visitors must refrain from making negative, derogatory, or critical comments about the other parent, their family, friends, or loved ones.
  • Prohibited Topics: Discussion of court cases, lawyers, judges, custody issues, or adult problems is strictly prohibited during visits.
  • Appropriate Interaction: The purpose of the visit is to build and maintain a healthy parent-child relationship. Visitors should engage positively with the child.
  • No Interrogation or Coaching: Visitors may not question the child about the other parent's household, income, or activities, nor may they coach the child on what to say or do.
  • Physical Discipline Prohibited: No adult may physically discipline a child or threaten to do so during any part of the visit
  • Constant Supervision: The parent and child must always remain within the sight and hearing of the supervisor to ensure the child's safety and well-being.
  • Prohibited Items: Weapons, alcohol, tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and non-medicinal drugs are generally not permitted on the premises.
  • Restricted Electronic Devices: Cell phones and other electronic communication devices (e.g., tablets, iPads) must typically be turned off and put away during the visit unless explicitly approved by staff, except for taking pictures upon approval.
  • No Abduction Risk: Law enforcement may be notified if there is any attempt to leave the facility with the child without authorization
  • Adherence to Schedule: Both the custodial and visiting parents must adhere to strict arrival and departure times for the safe exchange of the child, with penalties (e.g., fees, visit cancellation) for late arrivals or no-shows.
  • Guest Approval: Any additional visitors, such as grandparents or siblings, must have prior approval from the referring agency or the worker, and both parents may need to agree to their attendance.
  • Approved Gifts/Items: Any gifts or items brought for the child may need prior approval and inspection by staff before the visit begins.
  • Respect for Staff Authority: The visitation supervisor has the right to intervene, suspend, or terminate a visit at any time if rules are violated or if they have safety concerns.
  • Confidentiality and Reporting: While professional supervisors maintain a level of confidentiality, they are mandated reporters and are legally required to report any suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.
